CANCELLED. Could have been a great trip, mabye just a bad time to run it. Hopefully January or February we will try this again. Visit the office for a refund.

Seventh Annual Jasper Kick-off trip:
Date: Sept.16-18
Cost: $10, drivers do not pay for gas.
What: Anything! Car pool to Jasper friday, and do any activity you want the next two days (hiking, biking, climbing, knitting, ect). Camp and have some fun friday and saturday night, then come home sunday evening.

Mountain Biking (Intermediate):
Date: September 30 - October 2
Location: TBA (mountains somewhere)
Cost:camping/food/gas

Whitewater Canoeing (Beginner)
Date: September 30-Oct.2
Location: Rocky Mtn. House (HELA)
Cost: $155 (Includes gst, food, accommodations, rentals and
instruction), $40 deposit on signup (~%)

Rock/Caving trip Sept 30-Oct.2 @ COE
Cost: $200 (gst included. A great deal given specially to the club by the COE. With a decade of hiring their services, they still give us better deals than any other companies that dont even include food or accomadation)
Includes: food, accomodation, instruction, hot tub. Does not include gas money.

Lead Rock Climbing Course Sept 30-2 @ COE CANCELLED! Please come to the office for a refund.

Shunda Creek Cabin Fever Fall 2005
Where: Shunda Creek Hostel in Nordegg. We have the entire Hostel booked!

Cost: $40 cost for accomodation
This is the weekend after the rememberance day long weekend so you should be done your second set of mid-terms and this is before BIG projects hit the crunch time.

WHO:Anyone who wants to get into climbing, can only spare the time on a week night, and to meet other beginners in the UAOC like yourself

WHAT:Indoor wall climbing introduction that includes bouldering and using the high wall with belaying lessons
WHEN:Thursday October 27 from 6-8pm...you can climb longer if you like
WHERE:Urban Uprising in the Butterdome on campus in the far back corner
WHY: Why not? Great way to get introduced to climbing, its cheap!!
HOW:It's on campus...so whatever mode of transporation you use to get to class
COST: $15 includes 2 hour lesson, rental shoes and harness!!!!

Outdoor Survival :
Date: October 28-30
Cost: $50
This trip is being run by renowned survival instructor Mors Kochanski. He'll teach us pretty much anything we want to learn, plus we get to stay in one of his stove heated super shelters so there shouldn't be any worries about being cold.
