How do I join the club?
The answer to this question has changed over the last couple years. You can visit ‘Customer Service Center’ in the basement floor of Van Vliet and sign up there or sign up online! Or visit for instructions on how to sign up online!

How much is Club Membership?
It is $15 for students, $30 for non-students.

It’s actually a tad more complicated than that. Each student when they register in a sports club pays an administration fee of $5. If you’ve joined another Sports Club in a given semester, that fee will have already been paid.

How much do trips cost?
Trips are all done ‘at cost.’ This means that executives acquire all permits, accommodations, etc and then divide that cost among the members to find out how much a trip will cost. Because these costs constantly change, it’s hard to give an exact value but you should expect camping trips to cost less than hostel trips, etc.

What do I get with Membership?
Signing up for Membership gets you access to a ton of great perks and benefits (see the back of our membership card for details). But the primary benefit is access to our mailing list. This weekly email will contain all of the outgoing trips and weekly events planned for the following week. As well guide you on signing up for trips and events. Members can also rent from our massive gear library.

How long does Membership Last?
One year. The club does not run trips in the summer but you will have access to the club mailing list for an entire year to organize trips, rides, etc.

What kind of events do you run?
Camping, Hiking, Backpacking, Hosteling, XCSkiing, Canoeing, Climbing, Adventuring, etc. You get the point. Signup to see what’s going on this week!

I’m not receiving the Weekly email!
Don’t worry! Just send us an email or a message and we’ll get that fixed. The email goes out on Mondays, but may be late – so don’t worry.

How do I sign-up for a trip?
Once you’re a Member you should be receiving our weekly email. The email will contain a link to a Google Form where you can declare your interest in the trip. Your name will be entered into a trip lottery. If your name is called and you are in attendance, you’re on the trip!
