Sign-Ups for October Backpacking Trips
Sunday September 25th 2011, 05:47 PM
Wanting to squeeze a backpack (or two) in before winter finally takes hold? Well sign-ups for our 2 October backpacks both start on Monday, September 26.
First up is Andi's Thanksgiving bash at Jacques Lake in Jasper National Park. A relatively short hike takes you to a really nice campsite along the shores of a remote lake. A group meal for Thanksgiving may be in the cards if enough people are interested!
I'm running a season's boundary-pusher at the end of October to the front ranges of the Rockies, between Rocky Mountain House and Nordegg. It's a rarely done loop through some amazing scenery, and should be an adventure considering the date!
If any of those interest you come down to the office starting Monday to get signed up. You should be aware that some of our trips fill up real quick so get there early to guarantee a spot!
